This is Nick Mead – I am a good  friend of Rebel and I am burdened with passing on the very very sad news that Rebel passed away yesterday evening.   Less than a week ago he fell and sustained a head injury that had devastating  effects of which he never recovered.

I’m not sure about accessing this site again so my direct contact email is [email protected]

Rebel was a very close friend and will be forever missed .

Love to all.

RIP Rebel I’ll miss your writings. Thankfully I have all of your books. Sad day.

  2. Woodstock Says:

This site will go dark soon. Rebel isn’t here to pay the light bill anymore. The only place any of his words will be available will be in the few books he wrote and they will go out of print before long because none of them sold enough copies to stay in print. Requiescat in pace Don.

  3. Steel Says:

What a shock. Have been dealing with a broken ankle and haven’t been on and come on to find this tragic news. RIP Rebel and ride free. Your site provided insight and reporting unavailable anywhere else. Truth was your standard and you always met that standard. Appreciated all you did. To his family and friends, my condolences and sympathies. He will be missed by many.
