Still No Charges In Ohio Accident

There have still been no charges filed after an Ohio State Police Trooper named Jacob M. Daymon ran over a Harley-Davidson motorcycle ridden by Corey and Amy Waldman last month, however the dash cam video has finally been released.

The accident occurred August 17 on US 35 near Xenia, Ohio. Dayton television station WDTN requested the dash cam video of the accident on August 19. Dash cam videos are considered to be public documents. The state police refused. WDTN filed suit on September 3. Greene County Prosecutor Stephen K. Haller (above) refused calling the video “evidence in a criminal investigation.” According to Haller, the video has been subpoenaed by a grand jury and he believed the the video was not a public document until the grand jury was dismissed.

Last week, an appeals court in Ohio ordered the state police to release the video and the state police complied with the order late Monday.

The Accident

Both the police car and the bike were westbound on a clear, dry night. An Ohio State Police public affairs officer named Anne Ralston said after the accident that Daymon had “failed to maintain assured clear distance ahead. Exactly why and how that happened is still under investigation.” Ralston said Daymon was “pretty shaken up.”

Both the Waldmans were ejected from the bike and suffered non-life threatening injuries. Mrs. Waldman was evacuated from the scene by helicopter. The couple has since been released from Miami Valley Hospital.

Daymon, 30, is a six year veteran of the Ohio State Police and has not previously been disciplined.

You can view the dash cam video below.

Ohio State Trooper Jacob Daymon, the cop who hit a couple riding a motorcycle with his police car, has been sentenced. He’ll pay a whopping $150 fine and court costs, and will lose his driving privileges for six months. He was apparently speeding and using the in-car computer when he hit the couple on a motorcycle, literally running them over. No word if he was able to clear the level on “Candy Crush” has was playing on the in-car computer before the accident.

Xenia Municipal Court Judge Michael Murry was nice enough to allow him to have keep his driving privileges for work, so have no fear Ohians, he’s back out on the roads to “protect and serve” as well as write plenty of traffic tickets for distracted driving.

I guaran-damn-tee you that if the couple would have been driving a car and ran over one of the Ohio State Motorcycle Troopers they would be locked UNDER the fucking jail. Typical “circle the wagons” bullshit.

@ Sick Rick: that same thought crossed my mind too. Hell, they’re still gutless pricks…I’d have been suing everybody and their damn dogs too. And I’d hold a grudge until the day I died, even while counting my piles of money everyday.

    @PigPen: ain’t that the truth?

  7. slycechyx Says:

How the fuck are there no charges filed? That video is obvious proof of neglegance. The riders are damn lucky to have escaped fatal injuries.

  8. PigPen Says:

shit, that cat is lucky he didn’t have a patch on his back. he would have been arrested for impeding justice or something for being in the way. and all of his Brothers would be in a RICO case too. that prick cop would have gotten a promotion and written a book about his noble tale.

  9. Sick Rick Says:

If I were the cynical type, I’d wonder if their forgiving nature has anything to do with who’s paying the hospital bill.

  10. YYZ Skinhead Says:

Know what I’d like to see? A pig successfully prosecuted for a hate crime.

Wonder how many bikers have been called white trash, cracker, et cetera while pigs were abusing them.

I know, when Los Angeles freezes over.

Bet money the fuker was texting. ..

  12. Phuquehed Says:

I read somewhere that they did finally see the dashcam footage and *still* forgave the piss-hole pig.

Like someone else said here, those two sheeple don’t deserve to sue anyone. They make me sicker than the actions of the fucktard pig!

  13. Tooj Says:

Were those folks interviewed before or after they saw his dash cam? HAVE they seen any dash cam footage? I’m sure the victims assume the officer is all shook up and shit; nearly every person is brought up to believe in “Officer Friendly” so they do too; BFD for picking apart what they said.

Given just the footage shown here, that was some mighty fast distance covered. The impact alone says volumes…

What was that trooper’s malfunction will be the question for the ages. I don’t expect to ever really know the truth regarding any officer malfeasance.

  14. Road Whore Says:

    @ Tim D:

AMEN!!!!!!!!!!! I’d be suing those fuckers til the day that I died…and then get somebody else to keep the lawsuits coming at ’em.

No hard feelings??? For somebody that negligently ran up your ass and nearly killed you, and then spent more time looking at his patrol car for damage (or…evidence he might scrub away) than the people he ran over?!

I’d be cursing that fucker every single day of my life and then some!

Ride Free (And check those rear views!)

  15. Tim D Says:

NO HARD FEELINGS!!!!! FUCK THAT!!!!! THE PIG NEEDS TO BE FIRED AND PROSECUTED BY THE COURTS!! THEN THE CITY SUED!! FOR THE ACCIDENT, THE PIG SUED, AND THE PROSECUTING ATTORNEY AND WHO EVER INVOLVED IN THIS FUCKEN COVERUP SUED AND JAILED! AND AS FAR AS HELMETS, I THINK SHE SHOULD SPEAK FOR HERSELF ON HELMETS NOT OTHERS, I FEEL SORRY FOR THEM BOTH, BUT THEY SEEM TO BE ASS KISSERS TO LAW ENFORCEMENT! NO FUCKEN HARD FEELINGS MY ASS! GIVE ME THE FUCKEN CASH MUTHER FUCKERS, FOR RAMMING ME IN THE REAR END OF MY SCOOT AND ALMOST KILLING ME!

  16. YYZ Skinhead Says:

I watched about 5 seconds of the top video and had to shut it off. It looked a lot like attempted murder possibly by something tweaking or under crack (or both). The bike was going so slow that it couldn’t be missed. The murderous pig was aiming right for the bike.

  17. Base Says:

With out speculating what that particular public servant (Daymon) was doing when the accident occurred. It is obvious he wasn’t paying attention and traveling at a high rate of speed. ” Breaking the Law”

CN pretty much spelled out what that is all about. Tactics!

    Then

Among my friends we actually have a name or acronym if you will it is SACAH (sounds like SA-KA). Sadistic Abusive Corrupt Ass Hole.

We use it when ever there is a SACAH around be they cops, hero’s or zero’s. Because in of the world anyone can be a SACAH. OR- have SACAH like characteristics.

    That’s a fact.

Haller refusing to release public property.
    Again ” breaking the law.

    More than ever.
    Head on a swivel folks.

  18. 10Guage Says:

Absolutely disgusting ….Ive seen the longer video as well and he is all over the road….other way around he would be looking at charges already and have been beat half to death on the way to booking….and the motorcycle cop would betreated like a hero…these people are lucky to be alive….”Hey you alright?”….while he checks front damage on the car and puts out a tiny fire….in no way does he try and comfort them…FTP

If this was the other way around the bikers would be charged with attempted murder.

  20. WARTHOG Says:

I watch the same video you did, Phuquehed, and evaluated the situation the same. Fucker was all over the road. Couldn’t tell how fast the pig was moving, but assuming the couple was doing the speed limit, he was easily 15-20 mph faster. No lights, no siren. Fire that douchebag.

  21. Road Whore Says:

What a fuckin’ asshole! And it took him long enough to stop; and afterwards it looked like he was the personification of some kind of joke: I thought that he was going to back up and run them over again to make sure he did the job right! Damn!

Ride Free, and watch those rear view mirrors!

  22. Whitepride Says:

If it were the other way around that video would have been put right out there on the news. That prick needs to lose his job and face the same charges that we would face if the situation were reversed. They are lucky to be alive. I just hope they have a good lawyer and that cocksucker gets what he deserves!

  23. Grumbler Says:

Wouldn’t be too surprised if the trooper was beating his meat while watching porn on his iPhone.

  24. CN Says:

Got to agree with One Eye. If distracted negligent attempted manslaughter. If not distracted attempted murder. They fly down the road because they can without consequences. Saw no lights, heard no sirens, it’s common for them in the furtherance of their organization towards intimidation. Their criminal organization. Their racketeering influenced criminal organization.

  25. Phuquehed Says:

I also agree with One Eye.

Pay attention to the lines on the road. Looks to me like the pig was haulin’ ass. It also looks like he was all over the damned road. Texting or high as a kite probably.

Well…just watched the particular video Rebel has above…it’s not a long as the one I saw. The one I saw had at least another 10 to 15 seconds of video *before* he het the motorcycle. That’s where I saw him all over the road and going so fast.

  26. blacksmith Says:

    I agree.
Looking at something or drunk or high.
I’m sure there was no blood test on that asshole.

  27. One Eye Says:

I would venture to say that judging from the absence of an attempt to stop, the cop was either asleep or looking at something else. The only other explanation is that it was deliberate. It’s clear that the bike was on course in it’s lane and the cop hit him. Truly careless. If this was the other way around the bikers would be charged with attempted murder.
