Providence Guerilla Street Theater

Members of the Rhode Island State Police Intelligence Unit and the Violent Fugitive Task Force dressed up like SEAL Team Six yesterday to arrest 28-year-old Joseph M. Lancia on the street near the Providence, Rhode Island clubhouse of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club “at approximately 1:40 p.m.”

So it could have been anywhere from approximately 1:37 p.m. to approximately 1:43 p.m.

Lancia has been widely reported to be the president of the Hells Angels’ Providence charter. He was arrested Trump style “as part of an investigation into reports of shots being fired in the vicinity of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Clubhouse located at 161/163 Messer Street, Providence.”

(“When you guys put somebody in the car and you’re protecting their head, you know, the way you put their hand over? Like, don’t hit their head…and they just killed somebody…don’t hit their head. I said, you can take the hand away, okay?” the president told police in Long Island two years ago).

Ironically, Lancia is charged with assault.

He was held overnight at the state police headquarters in Scituate, Rhode Island. According to a press release issued on behalf of Colonel James M. Manni, Superintendent of the Rhode Island State Police and Commissioner of the Department of Public Safet, Lancia will be arraigned today “at Sixth Division District Court in Providence.”

According to the release, “This investigation is ongoing and additional charges may be forthcoming.”

After Lancia was taken into custody police used a Bearcat to remove the clubhouse front door and “executed” a search warrant.

There weremany trustworthy reporters on the scene to record and report the arrest and the storming of the clubhouse.

According to Donita Naylor of the Providence Journal, “The battering-ram truck let out an explosive noise. Then troopers and K-9s disappeared beyond the crumpled door. Occasionally a loud boom, sounding like someone had hit a 55-gallon steel drum with a sledgehammer, issued from inside, raising questions from the crowd about whether it was gunfire.”

Back Story

Rhode Island has been standing bravely against the biker menace since the autumn of 2015. That September, state police arrested three members of the American Outlaws Assoiciation after they attempted to drive through the state. Later, State Police Major Joseph Philbin explained: “The Outlaws are one the of biggest motorcycle clubs or gangs in the country, and the fact that they are establishing a presence in Rhode Island is alarming to us because sometimes they can bring forth some violence and criminal activity. I’m not saying all the time but sometimes they can.”

“New England is considered to belong to the Hells Angels.”

“The Hells Angels have had a presence in Rhode Island as long as I’ve been on the state police, the last 20 to 25 years, so the fact that the Outlaws are trying to maintain or create a presence here could create a problem.”

A year later, state police made another highly-publicized traffic stop of four Iron Horsemen who were trying to go to a party in Maine.

A year ago, state and federal authorities in Rhide Island and Massachusetts arrested 52 people alleged to be members or associates or antagonists of the Pagans motorcycle club during a public relations stunt codenamed “Operation Patched Out.”

What a bunch of fucking cowards. you want to dress up and play army go join up. What happened to the real police who would come knock on your door serve the warrant and come inside. No not now, they have to sling their dicks around and show how bad they are when they show up 20 deep in tactical gear and a fucking armored assault vehicle. like I said a bunch of fucking cowards.

I saw this covered on the local news here in MA. The media was close enough to watch them break the door down, and toss people on the ground. I wonder if it ever occurred to the cops that all the clubs had to do was develop sources in the media, and they’d know about every raid in advance…..

Was Providence originally known as East Coast M.F. ?

That’s perfect. Police ordered everyone out of the clubhouse and then busted down the door? Why not just start a fire then call the fire department! Stupid Swat bastards, a high school education and a badge.
