The Iron Order is sinking like a cinder block, Upon further examination, a day after club president Patrick “Brit” Ward told members that the Iron Order cannot pay its legal bills and is “almost out of funds” the club appears to have zero chance of surviving its current legal mess.

From the outside the Iron Order has always looked like a long con. The club’s current situation and the reaction of the club’s top officer to it hardly diminishes that impression. In his memo to his members the other day, Ward misled the Iron Order rank and file repeatedly.

“The club has an outstanding legal bill of $65,000 that must be paid,” Ward began without offering any further detail. But the fact that Ward says the debt “must” be paid indicates where the case is going and the likely incompetency of the Iron Order’s “Director of the Division of Legal Affairs,” John C. “Shark” Whitfield.

Howard Levin

The $65,000 is probably owed to Howard Levin, the very competent Philadelphia lawyer Whitfield hired to represent Timothy “Munch” Martin in the case titled Brenda L. Bollinger, Administratrix of the Estate of Tonya M. Focht v. Iron Order Motorcycle Club a/k/a Iron Order Motorcycle Club, LLC, et al. Martin is the convicted child molester who intentionally pushed a 34-year-old mother of two minor children under the wheels of a moving truck, Whitfield eventually fired Levin because he thought his fees were too high but he may now want to hire Levin back. The Iron Order can’t hire Levin until the club pays his bill. Martin is now acting as his own lawyer.

Levin could, theoretically, be prepared by June 25 when the Iron Order trial is scheduled to start. But, even if the Iron Order pays him and he feels he can be prepared for trial on time the judge in the case, John Yonge, might disqualify him for a conflict of interest. Levin represented Martin. The Iron Order’s best defense would be to lay all the blame on Martin.

The Iron Order is currently represented by another Philadelphia lawyer named Philip Blackman.

According to Judge Yonge, the total verdict for actual damages against the Iron Order and the individual defendants, if a preponderance of the evidence finds the defendants guilty, would be between $10 million and $20 million. The defendants could also be liable for exemplary damages. Individual defendants are facing personal bankruptcy.

In his memoranda to members, Ward says there is a “strong possibility of winning this case.” The Aging Rebel has reviewed all of the discovery in the case including crime scene video interviews with all the defendants; video crime scene interviews with other witnesses; additional and very gruesome crime scene video which may be shown to a jury; video recorded police interrogations of all the defendants including multiple interrogations of Martin; an expert report on behalf of the Iron Order submitted by Stephen L. Cook, Executive Director of the Midwest Outlaw Motorcycle Gang Investigators Association; and transcripts of depositions of all the defendants and other possible witnesses in the case including current Iron Order vice-president Michael “Cgar” Crouse. Ward overstates his club’s chances in court.

At the same time he understates the amount Iron Order members will have to pay for this mess. For example, he tells members that after paying the current legal bill of $65,000 the Iron Order can somehow win the case with $200,000 more.

Yet another Philadelphia lawyer with a general knowledge of the case said, “Their legal fees are going to be closer to $500,000 than to $200,000.”

“Two hundred thousand would only cover attorney’s fees which are actually likely to be more than that,” the lawyer said. “The two hundred grand would not cover liability and damage expert witness fees, including travel, lodging, and meals. It wouldn’t cover daily copy charges for trial transcripts. It wouldn’t cover travel, lodging, and meals for subpoenaed fact witnesses. Taking a case to trial is an expensive undertaking. The last thing these guys need is for their lawyer to walk out on them in the middle of trial. It doesn’t sound like they know what they have gotten themselves into.”

    Hell rider,
There’s a lot of clubs out there that don’t get along, but there’s still a level of respect for one another. IO? Not one bit of respect in any way.
Cowards & Rats, every one of them. Hell, they promote being a snitch, does that sound like Old School to you? No real Biker would have anything to do with joining up with these fake sons of anarchy pussies.

“It seems that most hate IO. Like many Mc , they too have their share of disrespectful assholes.”

    @ Hell rider;

The io is a collection of cowardly assholes that just happen to own motorcycles. The io is not a MC.

  3. stroker Says:

    @Hell rider:
I’m with Sieg. I’m even older. but what he says about the Iron Order (Urine odor) is true.

I haven’t seen your name here before, so I’m betting you just jumped in after reading this one fine example of Rebel’s work, and decided you know everything about this joke of a club.
Punch in Iron Order in Reb’s search engine. Do yourself a favor…..go back and read a few of the escapades this “law & order” club has been a part of. Much of what you say may be true for most motorcyckle organizations,

    but not this one.

  4. Sieg Says:

Hell rider, I am 64, and have been on two wheels since forever. I know a bit about old-school.

That said, allow me to just say, FUCK THE URINE ODOR.

If I saw one of them trapped under a burning sickle, I’d point and laugh. If I saw one of them being all sidewalk commando somewhere, I’d point and laugh.

You’re right, it’s the man, not the patch, but if someone is flying that scrap of asswipe, it tells me all I need to know about him, and about how much respect I should give him.

  5. Hell rider Says:

It seems that most hate IO. Like many Mc , they too have their share of disrespectful assholes. On the other band I have met some real stand up people who have nothing but respect for other mc’s. Unfortunately it may be third of their chapters.
My point is that, it is the man in front of you. Not the MC or its affiliation. Although not OK in most circles I have known many patches that would stand up for another patch noa matter who they were. I believe that bikers in general will always stand up for their own. If that person is respectful and honorable. Respect is respect and bullshit and posers are posers.

If you remember why MC’s were started in the first place and go back to the old-school world, you will totally understand my statements

  6. Haole Says:

    Fuck em

Respects to those that earned and deserve it

  7. Austin Says:

@Sandmann Danke! That IS totally German, and exactly whats happening at my work today.

  8. The dude Says:

A lot has been written about UO Timothy Martin being a convicted child molester. If so, he would be in sex offender registries. An exhaustive search for his him has not shown anything. Just wondering if anyone can cite a court case or anything?

    Respect for to those deserving

  9. Shovelhead Says:

You don’t have to be a 1% club to be respected. There’s plenty of clubs out there who ride, promote real Brotherhood, Keep Their Mouth Shut!!
Booze Fighters & 13 Rebels come to mind.

IO will run to the Cops at the drop of a hat.
Rats, everyone of them. Even Citizens, cops, old lady sewing circle clubs have no respect for IO.

They did this to themselves. You can’t teach Honor, you either have it or you don’t. If your first instinct in times of trouble, is to call the cops and snitch….You don’t have it!!
IO might as well disband, they’ll never overcome the cowardice label they’ve put on themselves.
Robert Ford is still known as the Coward who shot Jesse James in the back. 136 years later……For all time in the Biker world, IO will be forever known as Cowards and Rats. Just the way it is.

  10. TX_Biker Says:

    @Dave well said!

  11. Psycho Says:

That has to be the most German thing I’ve ever heard in my life!

    Fuck your feelings

  12. Davr Says:

After this fight and the killing I got a call from my nephew who is IOMC, claiming they were gona get away with it because they were connected. Connected to LEO, connected to the DA, connected to the Judge, etc. My reply was to never call me again, EVER. I’ve spread the word about this call but no one seems to care.

  13. Dazed Says:

    @DaveF,Right on..

  14. Not Surprised Says:

@Rock. We talk about them because we know them.
    Truth isn’t disrespect

  15. Not Surprised Says:

    Perfectly said.

  16. Iron Rider Says:

LOL so the Urine Order needs to go hat in hand in hoping their ” brothers” will dole up money to pay for the shit they seem to think their careers allow them to do even when they want to play big bad ass biker on the weekend. Guess that lets be confrontational mantra that came down from the Urine hire ups is going to be what is the start of their downfall.

These clowns deserve everything they get, and I wouldnt be surprised to see this dude want to cut a deal to save his ass from prison, and you can bet being some type of law enforcement he will sing like a bird and take some of the other fuckwits down with him, you know something you dont see with real MC’s.

I would like nothing better to see these fuckers taken to the cleaner and ow every dime, but I am sure they will weasel out of paying like they weasel out of shit they have done wrong on the job.

As for the “let’s not bash the Urine Order” fuck that. You aren’t and never will be consider part of the MC world except in your own mind, and you are due no respect whatsoever.

Couldn’t happen to a better group of pretenders and posers

  19. DaveF Says:

    @Rock – Taking a look backwards:
Respected clubs don’t start pick fights then run to the cops.
Respected clubs don’t murder folks then run to the cops.
Respected clubs don’t brag about how they run to the cops.
Respected clubs don’t don’t coddle child molesters.
    The list goes on.

Protip – Burn your IO trash and ride solo until you don’t feel that pollution in your soul.

  20. Jim Denny Says:

Why doesn’t the ATF come to their rescue? It always seemed, and I heard rumors, that the misguided agency worked with their club to instigate situations.
Great news of their demise but then where will they go?

  21. Rock Says:

Big boner of a mistake? You bet. Anyone blogging here sinless? No. You might take a look backwards at some major clubs that have murdered, raped and pillaged all in the name of “we are special and above the law”. You don’t like the order that’s fine. Blogging shit talk and disrespect don’t make you tough or right peckerheads. Consider a few more things. Dead motherfuckers don’t testify people die every day, lawyers are ALL scum bag faggot cock suckers and earned the right to be thrown under that truck the day they decided to practice. One more thing. All murderers get their day in front of one judge or another.

  22. Paladin Says:

An attorney can quit a case when any of the following occur:

    1) the client is refusing to pay the attorney for his or her services in violation of their fee agreement

    2) the client is refusing to follow the attorney’s advice

    3) the client is engaged in fraudulent conduct

    4) there has been a breakdown in the attorney-client relationship that prevents the attorney from effectively representing the client in the case.

Even when any of the above occur, the court has to be notified and ample time allotted for the client to obtain new counsel.

  24. Junkman13 Says:

finally some good news about these scumbags..I hope they go down in a ball of fire and never recover from this lawsuit..They have no honor or any kind of decency,or maybe now they will be complete rats and get employed full time by the ATF..I hope that if it goes to trial, the jury will bury these fucks under a enormous award to the be continued…

  25. Lunchbox Says:

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes! Bye Bye UOMC!

  26. growlingfhardt Says:

Yeah, the chickenshit is coming home to roost for Urine Odor.
Or as was revealed to me to say one day: “The roadapple doesn’t fall far from the horse’s ass.”

  27. Kenny Says:

They could sell Iron Dildoes and fuck themselfes on u tube! The one Layer goes by Train Cunt! These names make me laugh. Slam-Her… Ya know his oldlady is a man!

  28. TroubleHead Says:

What’s stopping these punks from dropping that patch and picking up some other shit? I’ve had a few run ins with these pussies in the Bay Area and trust me they’re nothing but bitch inside. The only thing good about them wearing that patch is you know right of the bat who’s who.

  29. panamaa Says:

I just found that the Vice President of the Philadelphia chapter of the Iron Order has the “Club” name of “Slam-Her”……… That’s apropos……….. Fuck those’s cocksuckers, proud to see ’em going down in flames…

  30. L-Frame S&W Says:

Ya know, I have long suspected that the Urine Odor was constructed by the alphabet soups of the government as another ploy to try to bring down the legitimate MCs. If we see Martin take the fall for this murder, and the Urine Odor somehow get the case against the organization dismissed, it will be evidence the alphabet soup agencies really ARE behind the UO. The question then would be, will the Urine Odor just carry on, or reform as another bogus club and start over?

  31. panamaa Says:

Ding dong the bitch is dead…..

  32. Sandmann Says:

Here in Germany, we have a saying:

    “Schadenfreude ist die größte Freude”

(Roughly translates into: Malicious joy is the greatest joy)

    Respect to the deserving,

  33. Curbside Says:

If nothing else, a case like this should serve as an example as to why any club large enough to have more than a single chapter should incorporate.

Having one man in a position of single ownership of trademarks and whatnot is, in my not so humble opinion, a true dumbfuck move. Then again, if a club has to serve as an example of why you shouldn’t do such a thing, I can’t think of a better club to see it happening to!

  34. Aanon Says:

I hope I’m a fool. There are some fucked up predicates I see happening tho. Very sly slide of hand. Could potentionally eliminate certain Shysters. Not a friend, never met not one io but goddam if the slide can stop on that slope.

  35. Parsifal Says:

Should be a whole bunch of low mileage motorcycles comin up for sale ….. CHEAP! Courtesy of your local urine odor bimbos. Tear the monkey head stickers off and burn the seats, have you a brand new bike.

  36. jrino Says:

hope they come up with $ and lose!lol
