Joseph Alphonse “Wrecker” Ludwig, a proud member of the Harford Chapter of the Chosen Sons Motorcycle Club, died in an automobile accident on January 9. He was previously a member of the Baltimore chapter.
Wrecker Ludwig died sitting in a Fiat at a red light at the intersection of Route 40 and West Shore Road in Edgewood, Maryland. A woman driving a Dodge SUV suffered a medical emergency, floored her accelerator and smashed into the rear of Ludwig’s car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
He is survived by his wife Jennifer, his sons Ethan and Joseph, his daughters Autumn and Madeline and many nieces and nephews.
His club brothers remember that he was small in stature but had a huge smile and a bigger heart. They write, “He beat cancer twice and always forgave everyone, which is why no matter what, he had everyone’s respect. He always said he was meant to be a Chosen Son and he will always be remembered I am my Brother’s keeper! Ride Hard and Ride Free Brother! SFFS.”
Joseph Alphonse “Wrecker” Ludwig was just 48-years-old when he died. God must have been eager to meet him
