Christie Still Hard To Ignore

George Christie Jr., the longtime president of the Ventura charter of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, continues to demand and get attention.

Christie was expelled from his old club, debriefed, spent seven months in prison and came out destitute. Now he is a reality television personality with a book deal and, recently, his own billboard on the Sunset Strip. It is a success story. And, as Napoleon once famously remarked, “You can’t make an omelette without breaking some eggs.”

Christie has a couple of lawyers who do his egg breaking for him.

Last March, after British director Nick Mead pulled a film he had made about Christie titled The Last American Outlaw, Christie’s attorney daughter Moriya Lynn Christie wrote Mead a letter on her father’s behalf that bluntly threatened to sue Mead, who had already spent $200,000 of his own money on the film, into bankruptcy if he didn’t do what George wanted.

“It seems that the appropriate remedy is for you to sign over your rights in the Venture and in the Documentary to Nikki (Christie –George Christie’s wife). The transaction can be structured whereby Nikki and the Venture indemnify you from any claims that arise from the distribution of the Documentary with an errors and omissions insurance policy secured in order to address any such claims. Otherwise, you are likely looking at a lawsuit for damages and specific performance wherein you are going to incur over $100,000 in legal fees whereas my relationship with Nikki will substantially reduce the attorneys’ fees she will be required to spend, if any at all.”

“You simply cannot take your ball and go home.”

More recently a lawyer named James Devine, who wrote the contract that defined Mead and Christie’s obligations to each other, has been blustering at two of Christie’s other adversaries.

Li’l Georgie’s Motorcycle

One dispute involves a 1989 Harley-Davidson FXRS that George’s late son, George Christie III apparently sold or gave to a friend , who asked not to be named, in 2013. The younger Christie died at the beginning of August. The bike is registered in the new owner’s name and he still possesses it, but the former Ventura charter chief claims the bike belongs to him and is threatening to sue to get it back and also to collect damages. The man has been told that his “continued retention of the motorcycle constitutes conversion under California law.” The dispute has lingered since April.

It seems like a curious overreaction. Christie who has had two hips replaced rarely rides these days.

And, possession is still nine-tenths of the law. Last month, Christie went public with the dispute in a blog post titled “Who Stole Li’l Georgie’s Motorcycle.”

Five months after it began, he wrote about the dispute as if it was something that had just then come up.

“There are limits, even in the world of Outlaws. Or so I thought,” Christie wrote on September 13, about five weeks after his oldest son died.

“Many things have opened my eyes as I journey through this new century. Every mid-September I pause to remember watching the twin towers collapse from acts of cowards. I have seen something else crumbling too — the outlaw motorcycle culture, a world I had called home since 1966.

“As many of you may know, my family has been trying to come to terms with the loss of my son, George Christie III,  who passed away unexpectedly a few weeks ago. It has hit me and my oldest daughter, Moriya, hard…The depth of the loss is indescribable and, frankly, inconsolable.

“In the midst of our grief we have discovered Georgie’s FXRS Harley Davidson is missing. The motorcycle was a gift I bought him the day he graduated from high school. Although he would have never said it outright, the fact that he has kept it all these years tells me it held a very special place in his heart. And it held a very special place in mine. I can still see his face and hear his words on the day I gave it to him.  ‘Thanks Pops’ he said, as he looked into my eyes and smiled, showing how much he really meant it.”

The other dispute has been more blunt and less sentimental. Four days after Christie’s public plea to recover the motorcycle that was once his, Devine wrote a cease and desist letter demanding that man named William E. Gaddie stop insulting America’s newest reality star. Devine demanded that Gaddie “publicly retract” his “defamatory and false light statements regarding Mr. Christie on Mr. Gaddie’s personal Facebook page and the Facebook pages ‘George Christies (sic) a Fraud,’ ‘George Christie (sic) a Fraud,’ and ‘Outbad Chronicles,’ and the YouTube submission from ‘Chris Georgie.’

Devine also alleges that Gaddie “made false and disparaging comments to Mr. Christie, Mrs. Christie, and their son Finn while they sat outside a business establishment in Ojai, California. Mr. Gaddie called Mr. Christie a ‘fucking rat,’ ‘snitch,’ ‘pig sucker,’ and
‘fucking queer.’ Mr. Gaddie also stated that Mr. Christie should have been killed instead of Ray Glore. Thereafter, Mr. Gaddie told Mrs. Christie that he would ‘see her later’ despite the fact that there was no reason for Mrs. Christie to ever ‘see’ Mr. Gaddie. It was obvious that Mr. Gaddie was threatening to inflict further harm on Mrs. Christie at a later date and time.”

Gaddie Replies

Gaddie responded on September 21. He wrote:

“As many people already know George has tried to use intimidation and scare tactics to manipulate for years. I received this hypocritical letter from George Christie Jr., much like the one he had written to Nick Mead. George thinks it is okay to go on television and talk about people in his ‘Outbad Chronicles’ but he doesn’t like when people tell about the side of George Christie they know. He keeps trying to delete comments about him that he simply doesn’t like.

“You can’t have it both ways George! You created a Facebook Page as a ‘Public Figure.’ People have opinions about that, ‘You simply cannot take your ball and go home.’

As his usual method of operation, this letter is full of lies it seems he just won’t tell the truth. I want it to be known I did go to jail and I was on non-association as part of the terms I was sentenced with from the Judge. I believe George is the one who arranged these terms as he screwed over many others to benefit himself. I am a former member in Good Standing, and I have nothing but the utmost respect for the club and its life style.

“There are so many people he has done wrong and screwed over it could be any number of them making these Facebook page’s and Video’s. This will keep his lawyer busy endlessly writing letters. The bottom line is the videos contain truth he doesn’t want heard.”

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of outlaws lives.

    “George Christie said:

Since when is a kamikaze attack “cowardly”? Let’s not confuse “evil” with “cowardice” because those words mean different things.

The Islamovermin rode their hijacked weapons to their deaths because they believed in what they were doing.

What they did not do was sell out, snitch, then do a reality show to make bank off their past.

  17. Georgia 81 support Says:

Any kind of club goes through things but how 81 comes out is the most important no one member is above the club and no club is above the death head patch

Wake up every 1 watching ! George, sonny wakeup

  18. Big Ang Diamondback Says:

    @Tim Ferguson
Last week you were a cop/atf agent. Today you are a 12 year old AOA supporter. Which one is it??
Aging Rebel is not the place for club/territory drama. Take it to your local bar and throw those words around, where you aren’t hiding behind a keyboard. This ain’t the place for it.

(And just for the record I am not disrespecting any club including the AOA conglomerate by saying that. I have no reason to insult any one club on here, it’s simply just not my/our way)

  19. Square Verbose Doc Says:

So a man sues a film maker who (because the film maker no longer believes that the man’s assertions to be true) refuses to release a documentary he made about that man .

Well, this is America. I suppose everyone of us has a God-Given-Right to be portrayed exactly as we wish to be portrayed, true or not, in the documentary of our choice made by a prominent film maker.

Now as far as I can gather, nobody has made ANY documentaries about me, let alone released them.

Please excuse me now. I have some film makers to go sue–after all–I’ve got rights!

  20. Wolfenlover Says:

it is the truth, so why do you think you need to bring this here? TROLL, I get

  26. dogbreath Says:

“There are limits, even in the world of Outlaws. Or so I thought,” Christie wrote on September 13

There are limits. And you know what they are, George. And you know you have crossed the line, over and over again.

@Phuquehed – she’s a lawyer. We all need ’em, and those who are passionate about doing defense work against the system are the best of the breed – but they are still lawyers. You can’t really fault her for trying to help her Daddy, I’m sure he bought her lots of pretty gifts growing up, from misappropriated Club funds.

@sickjay – you are correct in your assessment, in general. But in this particular instance, George Christie, Jr. is the problem, the whole problem, and nothing but the problem.

@George – you had it all, man. You traded immortality as a legendary leader of men who are, at best, difficult to lead, and traded it for infamy as a rat-bastard snitch. Your place in the world is now permanently cemented into place, and can the damage be undone. All of your lawsuits that are currently pending or threatened only serve to emphasize how much of a bitch you have become. Drop the suits, STFU and fade away. Shut up, keep a subterranean profile, and practice your breathing for as long as you can.

Thank you Rebel, respects to you and the real regulars.

  27. tiger Says:

    FUCKING spellcheck !!!!!!

  28. tiger Says:

It is called Out Bad for a reason George. You aware and never come back from that ya RAT!
Respects for the regulars . Rebel keep on with the great work. Tiger

  29. slowhand Says:

Temper tantrums: are unpleasant and disruptive behaviors or emotional outbursts. They often occur in response to unmet needs or desires.

  30. Thistle Says:

this is crazy- he sounds like a man possessed by a demon that has an IQ of 9 and learns everything about the world through faux news morning shows.

  31. Steel Says:

@sickjay, you are spot on. We live in a media world and everyone is about image and no substance at all.

    George who? says it all.

  32. sickjay Says:

The problem isn’t George, the problem is society as a whole now a days. Its factory raised with no substance, its all about image. You see it in many subcultures, people are image and no substance especially in any type of “outlaw” or street gang subculture. People now have a inflated sense of ego and will turn on the drop of a dime. Everyone is a boss, untill its time to do a boss’ time.

  33. Phuquehed Says:

Looks like the daughter didn’t fall far from the rat snitch, low-character, no-integrity, lying shit-stain of a father.

Step off a curb into the path of a runaway garbage truck, Christie, and put us out of our misery.

  34. bcnasty Says:

I read this and my thoughts go to what type of man works that hard to get Chapter Prez than shits on his club. That thought baffles me. I do not give two shits if you feel butt hurt, do not shit on your club. Basic honor principles to me. If your a vp in the private sector and you felt the president disrespected you in some way do you go and shit on everyone under you because of a problem with those above.Same darn principle. I retain bad feelings about a patchover in the early 80’s. Till this day have never spoken bad about the club as my feelings should have no effect on the bigger picture. Seems we have gotten a bit more touchey feely as a society . Old man told me keep your mouth shut, your eyes open and your honor. Your honor is one of the few things another man can not take from you.

  46. Big Ang Diamondback Says:

    @freeman and @paladin
I couldn’t have said it better myself. “George who”?
After the last episode has aired the world is now going to forget George Christie. He had his moment of glory in ” out bad chronicles” where he made all of the wonderful reality TV watching citizens of the world think he was Mr. King 81 and when he walks around Beverly Hills shopping for fur coats and minks with his yoga loving , incense candle smelling wife , many a wealthy citizen on the street will bow down and revel in his glory. Shake his hand and go hey “there’s George Christie.” But then he will close the door on his brand-new Mercedes, Drive a few blocks down the road to a new neighborhood , with a new different of citizen , A not so wealthy citizen , his head on a swivel, wondering if today or tomorrow will be the day he meets someone that he has insulted or hurt throughout the years. And it is on that day, that he will realize what he has created with his OUT ..BAD ..CHRONICLES. The end

Paladin and Dr. Sardonicus: how was my poetry? I’m trying to learn from the best. Lol
