The Vagos Are The Show

George Rowe, who along with Ashley Charles “Tijuana Charles” Wyatt, informed on the Vagos Motorcycle Club during an ATF investigation that would later be named Operation 22 Green, is about to become very famous.

Hyperion Media Group and Identity Films are in preproduction for a film based on Rowe’s quasi-novel Gods of Mischief: My Undercover Vendetta to Take Down the Vagos Outlaw Motorcycle Gang.

According to Variety, Michael Mailis and Anthony Mastromauro will produce the film. Mikko Alanne will write the screenplay. Alanne previously wrote the scripts for The 33, about Chilean Miners trapped underground, and Oliver Stone’s Vietnam movie Pinkville.

Gods of Mischief was published around the same time as Wyatt’s Vagos, Mongols and Outlaws: My Infiltration of America’s Deadliest Biker Gangs. Wyatt is now widely known as Charles Falco.

During Operation 22 Green Falco was supervised by Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Agent Darrin Kozlowski and Rowe was supervised by ATF Agent John Carr.

High Octane

Simon and Schuster, which published Gods of Mischief, describes the book as a “high octane, no holds barred, true story of a bad guy turned good who busted open one of the most violent motorcycle gangs in history. George Rowe’s gritty and high-octane story offers not only a clear window into the violent world of the motorcycle outlaw but a gripping tale of self-sacrifice and human redemption that would be the stuff of great fiction – if it weren’t all true.”

Former ATF Agent Jay Dobyns praised the book, saying “Most people wouldn’t dare lock eyes with a member of the Vagos. A few would look away, the rest would just run. America prefers to voyeur into the biker culture, hiding behind the safety of the television screen. Gods of Mischief cuts through the fear and Hollywood glamorization, puts you on a bike, and rides you right into the Green Nation.”

Former ATF Agent William Queen has written, “Oh my God, what a story. This is a dangerous and emotional page-turner that’s going to leave you thinking to yourself, ‘My life’s not so bad after all.’ Reading Gods of Mischief is like sitting right next to George Rowe listening to him tell it.”

Becoming A Snitch

The lie that Rowe, his publishers, handlers and enablers promulgate is that he agreed “to join the Vagos – not as part of a plea deal but to exact revenge for the Vagos’ coldblooded, senseless killing of Rowe’s friend in a Hemet bar. Becoming a ‘snitch’ is, for Rowe, a way of giving something back to the neighborhoods he’d poisoned with the methamphetamines he sold.”

Sources speaking on condition of anonymity indicate Rowe may now believe that himself. Rowe’s pride in his work brings to mind one of two witticisms Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche was known to have uttered in his entire life. “Pride and memory were having an argument,” Nietzsche said. “Memory said, ‘It was like this.’ And pride replied, “No! It couldn’t have been!’”

The truth about Rowe, at least the truth as seen from outside his skull, may be more interesting. Rowe was never a major drug dealer. He was a petty criminal and minor drug dealer. He saw becoming a professional informer as a career opportunity. A very informed source said, “In Hemet, George had a nickel and dime business with a couple of toothless alcoholic employees and a junkie woman, lingering along in a dying town. Going undercover and subsequently into WitSec has led him into a whole new life filled with as many opportunities as he can reach out for.”

Rowe may have begun his journey into the lucrative snitch business as early as 1982. He was eventually turned out by a man named Kevin Duffy who died in 2009.

“It may have been his idea to infiltrate the Hemet club,” the source said. “But, Kevin Duffy would have known how to actually make him do it. And, Kevin was certainly well-connected to maximize the opportunity into something bigger.  Kevin got George in touch with the Feds, and I am sure Kevin knew it was a one way street. The relationship between them was long standing and much more complex than what George states in the book. The road they took together was likely one they had gotten on way back in the early 80’s. George has said to me more than once that he agreed to Kevin’s request to go undercover for a short, one-shot deal.”

Clocking Dollars

Since disappearing after Operation 22 Green, Rowe has continued to work as a professional informant for the ATF. The Aging Rebel believes that in the last eight years Rowe has been involved in ATF investigations in Georgia, Tennessee, Arizona, Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey and North Carolina.

“He’s a natural on the street,” the source said.  “He’s got a wide network on both sides of the thin blue line, and he knows how to use it.”

“They reward him well for doing what comes to him, naturally. He has become educated. His penmanship is legible and his writing literate. His vocabulary is professional, and he speaks well. When you know what living in Cali was like for him, it is amazing to see how far up into the middleclass lifestyle he has come. He has been able to diversify his revenue stream with jobs, side jobs, a business, book deals and movie rights. That native intelligence which he used to great effect as a small time con man, he now uses to his advantage as he works within the Federal system. “

“He explained to me how cops make big money in Real Estate. Protected people can’t live just anywhere, and they have to keep moving along, Rents received  for those wired up, teched-out safe houses is roughly triple the going rate, and with high un-occupancy to write off. Government employees have insider privileges like first crack at buying repos or seized property. Paid time off, dental insurance, employee discounts…concepts like this were completely foreign to him in his previous life.”

And now Rowe is about to become America’s next great hero.

Welcome to the meritocracy.

To the author: Seems like you are quite precise about your writing so I figured you would want to know that it seems you have a writing error in your Nietzsche quotes in the article: Memory speaks twice; I think you intended to give Pride one of those quotes. Maybe I’m wrong, but if Memory and Pride were having an argument, it makes sense that Pride would get to have his say. No need to publish this as a Comment, it’s just a heads up. Enjoying your articles. I might make an actual Comment here soon.

  5. Grumbler Says:

Every single movie and TV show/series purporting to be about the life is, for all intents and purposes, nothing more than blatant exploitation of MCs by a bunch of greedy fucks.

Despite the passage of two decades, this one from 1993 doesn’t get any easier to watch although their choppers are fuckin’ kewl. A Bronx Tale Motorcycle Bar Fight Scene: http://youtu.be/erL2czOyNoc

  6. infidel Says:

Well, I just watched the first show. Canada is a little behind I guess…

the format and ‘sam spade’ style of narration is clever and watchable…it comes across as a pure story and doesnt appear to try and pass itself off as a serious type of drama…and I understand the anger if one feels portrayed incorrectly.

it seems like pure entertainment and not taking itself too seriously. I find it kinda funny…its so over the top. dont imagine the clubs he ratted on are finding it entertaining tho…seems it would be easy to ‘out an undercover’ ie make him do drugs or criminal offenses, but a CI? They can do that shit and still testify….harder to catch I guess.
I like this website…and although I know only a little about the true biker lifestyle, I do respect it. yep

  8. ShadowGrave Says:

Hey guys what’s crackin’ – I know Vagos hang out in my area. I see them around. I talked to a prospect a few times and they hang out at a bar I used to go to.

Anyway, this show is another gay exploit to middle age posers who think this life-style is all about being a bad ass and acting like a poser… and only delves in the negative aspects of MC world I bet.

I was watching a tidbit and they had an old vago portrayed smoking a joint out in the desert, which was cool. Who’s it based off of? Terry the tramp maybe? That dude is philosophical.

But one scene out of this show, he says “Hey man I hard-tailed your bike so you can ride like a bad ass” – and the next scene they were all riding baggers. WTF? do the creators of the show even know.. ah fuck it, stopped watching it after that.

I hate these Rat exploit shows, they try to make the Rat out to be a hero. but he’s just a fuckin’ rat. So, fuck him. I didn’t even watch the show, but I wonder what do vagos think of this shit? I guess they can’t do much about it or can they?

If any vagos are reading this email me what you think of the show would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks for reading. PEACE!

    Paladin nailed it.

Little or no national intel on spies means they get to be CAREER spies which evidently attracts enough people to be a problem. It’s like running separate kindergartens and not background checking for pedos.

It bodes ill for American society when people can make a living as serial informers. People not in outsider cultures should worry, because greed, venality and empire building mission creep means sooner or later they will be next….

  10. Sieg Says:

Mack, you think it’s okay for a pigger to light someone up for whipping his ass?

Shit, things have changed. Once upon a time, a cop would go heads-up, and if he lost, he lost. Period. Or he might decide to pop you anyhow, but didn’t generally get much support on that action from fellow-bacon.

Got a cop in town here, had his shit whipped pretty good by a father/son team of local rednecks. Took a kick in the ‘nads and went down, got danced on some. Managed to turtle out of the house, made it to his squad, and went back to the cop-shop to find his nuts. THEN he went back with another cop to even things up and took the place apart.

The way it should be. WE hire them to “enforce the law”, or “serve and protect”, or some such bullshit, NOT to blow kids away for petty little shit.

It seems if they taze, they get condemned, if they shoot they get condemned, so fuckit, just shoot the bastards.
Im not a cop fan, Im pretty far from it, but I also cant stand the thug ferguson street mentality that constantly jumps in a cops face and provokes him them runs and calls al sharpton and jess jackson when the cop reacts.

Rebel, just revealed alot about himself with this article. Every corporate executive and politician out there takes Nietzsche’s philosophy to be representative of himself. Truth is every Outlaw MC member out there should be the ones associating themselves with Nietzsche, from The Birth of Tragedy, Human, All Too Human, to Beyond Good and Evil. His views on Master vs Slave Morality will sound quite familiar. The Slave must do what he’s told, his principle is will to survive. The Master or Ubermensch is Beyond Good and Evil, he must make rules based on what is good or bad for his society and the people he represents. His code in life is not based solely on a will to survive, but on the Honor of his people, it is more then will to survive, it is Will To Power. Whether people know it or not, this is the Credo of every Outlaw MC and wanna be MC Member out there………

  22. Metal Dave Says:

Paladin said: “The Feds have unlimited time, unlimited resources and work full time against what others may work at part time. The Feds bank heavily on the well established fact that most of the OMCs and MCs are too prideful to work together or share information. It is the MCs and OMCs Achilles Heel and the Feds have become experts at its exploitation.”

Absolutely. Bikers and MC’s have always had way more common ground than differences, and -nowadays especially- the biggest shared thing is this fuckin’ bullshit which ain’t going away with that kinda traction. Born to hate that guy’s patch? I get it, but it ain’t a fucking BADGE.

All those that chose to live this lifestyle need to develop some serious political and tactical situational awareness.

Watching the abuse this subculture allows itself to be continually subjected to, is as frustrating as watching a kid continually subjected to the abuse of a neighborhood or schoolyard bully. It makes one want to scream DEFEND YOURSELF! FIGHT BACK! DON’T TAKE THIS SHIT! FOR GOD’S SAKE, DO SOMETHING!

As long as those within this lifestyle choose to remain helpless, the future of this lifestyle will continue to be hopeless.

  26. stoker Says:

Rebel reports on the injustice reaped by the outlaw motorcycling world, and he does it very, very well. He is, quite probably, the only voice exposing the injustice in our world. We all comment on it. We all fuss and fume and swear about the CI’s and undercovers, and over-zealous LEOs that inflict their agendas on us. We are all the same in this regard.

But we are not all the same. We are similar in our dress, our lifestyles, and our culture. We are very much alike in all things having to do with the motorcycling world, and the outlaw biker within it. We are NOT the same, when it comes to our clubs. We are all against each other. I venture to say even so-called “support” clubs are deep down at odds with each other, and with the major clubs they ”support.” We (a collective term used here to describe all club members, in big or small clubs)….we are territorial, proud, and even in our support of other clubs, a tad bit surly towards the dominate clubs, under whose thumb we exist, and towards other clubs, simply because that’s the role we believe we have to play. We are warriors mostly, and loyal finally only to our own clubs and families.
    That is our downfall.

Look back on history: In all societies, there came a bigger, stronger gang who would come into a territory, and rule it by force. To achieve the conquering of that territory, the conqueror would eliminate the factions he could, or make them join his force. He would enlist the enemy’s enemies. He would by devious and sundry methods use spies, informants and infiltrations to advance his takeovers.

Look at Napoleon: he sought to conquer his world at the time by aligning other nation states with his forces. Many of his “victories” were made by using other country’s men as “cannon fodder.” He used subterfuge, politics and in some cases bought people to his cause. The world he sought to conquer at his time was fractured, with only Great Britain mounting any kind of resistance.

Look at the American Indians: when whitey came to the Americas, the native people were not living in harmony with each other. They were as many tribes as petals on flowers. And they didn’t all get along! It was common for them to fight amongst each other. It was common for them to take slaves, and kill. That was their culture. Imagine what it might have been like if all the Native peoples in the Americas were united under one rule….things might have turned out a little different than they did (smallpox notwithstanding).

When Cortez landed in Mexico, he came with a small force, but in a short period of time he managed to conquer everything up to and including what is now Mexico City. He did this by his use of gunpowder of course, but he also did it by subterfuge, and aligning Montezuma’s enemies with himself, and used divide and conquer tactics. Had all of Mexico been under one rule, things might have gone poorly for ol’ Cortez.

My point here is, as long as bikers, and by that I mean us, 1%ers, club members et al….as long as we continue to fight amongst ourselves, we have no hope of overcoming the biggest gang in our world, that being “law enforcement” and all the sneaky under-handed tactics they employ against us. We are doomed to failure because we cannot agree with each other. We are doomed to keep on enduring all the crap the feebs and police and opportunists like Cook, Falco and others of their ilk throw at us.

We cannot long survive divided. And the pride each club has of it’s own existence, won’t let that unification take place.

What’s needed is more work at the COC level…..and some real honest to God sit-downs between the bigger clubs. Even then, I have my doubts. Bikers are by nature unwilling to be told what to do….even by their own clubs! We’re too damn fractured, too damn proud, and in many cases too damn stupid to know what’s going on. Throw greed into the mix, and we’re sometimes just a rolling fucking train wreck. (yeah, “Mr. Sunshine” …that’s me!)

I dunno my friends…….sometimes it just seems hopeless.

    But I Hope I’m wrong.

I a honestly curious, but in todays society does boycotting anything actually work? There’s the saying, there is no such thing as bad press, or something similar. I remember there was a call to boycott Chic-a-fil over their stance on gay marriage, and if I recall correctly it never hurt their business in fact I think they experienced some kevel of increased business. I realize there is a segment of our population that would follow through with a boycott but those peple likely wuldn’t spend money or time on these abortions in the first place. It is more a question designed to stimulate discussion, I wonder if more of a black out on discussions would potentially be more effective?

All they end up doing is becoming best friends/brothers with a handful of people, and then stab them all in the back.

I want to see the other side of that coin.

    1. Someone join a police department.
    2. Befriend a handful of officers and serve selflessly for a couple of years.
    3. When your friends need you the most, show up on scene, and shoot them all in the back.

Then write a book on how you infiltrated the police department to “take it down.”

Paid time off, dental insurance, employee discounts…concepts like this were completely foreign to him in his previous life.”

    That’s why.

@Paladin : “So, riddle me this; why isn’t this guy’s mug (along with others) not found in every biker friendly bar within the above mentioned States?

Until the various MCs and OMCs at least start sharing information, Rowe and others like him will continue to wreak havoc by helping the ATF fabricate crimes that send the non-deserving to prison. Think it can’t happen to you? Well; you might want to think again. Every subject of every article Rebel has ever written on the topic of entrapment or fabricated crimes has thought that it only happens to the other guy.”

I agree with every word. Information should be shared where possible to stop these kind of infiltrations happening. An old patch said to me when i got my Prospect patches “Now you’re worth a few hundred grand at least” i said “How do you work that one out ?” he smiled and said “Well thats about how much the police spend on watching us and guess what ? They’re gonna want a return on it eventually too”

“The Aging Rebel believes that in the last eight years Rowe has been involved in ATF investigations in Georgia, Tennessee, Arizona, Maryland, Virginia, New Jersey and North Carolina.”

So, riddle me this; why isn’t this guy’s mug (along with others) not found in every biker friendly bar within the above mentioned States?

Until the various MCs and OMCs at least start sharing information, Rowe and others like him will continue to wreak havoc by helping the ATF fabricate crimes that send the non-deserving to prison. Think it can’t happen to you? Well; you might want to think again. Every subject of every article Rebel has ever written on the topic of entrapment or fabricated crimes has thought that it only happens to the other guy.

The Feds have unlimited time, unlimited resources and work full time against what others may work at part time. The Feds bank heavily on the well established fact that most of the OMCs and MCs are too prideful to work together or share information. It is the MCs and OMCs Achilles Heel and the Feds have become experts at its exploitation.

Yeah; I get the fact that I sound like a broken record on this particular subject. We all know the definition of insanity. We also know or should know that if the status quo is allowed to continue, the end result will continue to remain the same, and that is insane.

I like your tree selection better than mine. Do they fair well in DC and Arizona?

They all deserve multiple cases of cancer of the eyes and asshole, preferably simultaneously.

  48. Phuquehed Says:

@AVAGOVFFV – No, you don’t want them to use a dry sycamore stump…that’s being too kind to the vermin. You want them to use the trunk of a Devil’s Walking Stick http://www.carolinanature.com/trees/arsp.html

  49. Phuquehed Says:

Just another rat who thinks its shit don’t stink and nobody on his side of the line will tell him the truth that he’s still just a fucking air-wasting rat.

    Rebel,
    I think I just popped a gasket!
Fuck Rowe, Matteson and Wyatt with the same dry sycamore stump.

    Karma will come.
